Welcome

On Fridays, everyone is welcome for potluck lunch at 12:30 in Base Camp and to Open Spaces

11.00 – 12.30 – Open Spaces for children ages 2-5 year old in our Nursery Campus (Register before, 8098503386).

12.30-13.30 – Potluck Lunch! Bring something to share and enjoy community lunch together! (Email before at tlc@auroville.org.in to know if its happening).

13.30 – 15.00 – Open Spaces for all children ages 6-14. Enjoy the free flow between different activities and workshops. (No registration needed).

Joining The Learning Community (TLC)

Please read our website carefully before applying to join TLC. TLC is not a school, but a community of learners – children, facilitators and parents alike. Facilitators develop and facilitate the educational program for the children, while parents take an active interest in principles of Integral Education through their parenting and by participating in the community life of TLC.

Parents joining TLC are expected to take part in the monthly workday-morning and community gathering, a required participation to create a healthy community for all. Values of trust, transparency, commitment to process, and non-judgement are essential. TLC is only what everyone brings in themselves, and offers to others. This together co-creates our community, where we with support of each other, joy and creativity can explore this unique educational model striving to take Integral Education into practice.

Admissions

If you would like to know more about our admissions process, send us a message here. Share about your family, educational approach, age of your children, and what attracts you to want to know more about TLC. After we receive your letter, a meeting will be scheduled to answer any of your questions and know more about your family. Admission is with commitment for at least one full year, from beginning of July to the end of April.
